Huckleberries are as Idahoan as spuds!

If you're looking for something uniquely Idaho to give as a gift, and would rather not give potatoes, why not try huckleberry products? Huckleberries are not only the Idaho state berry, but they're unique to the pacific northwest. They have a strong, rich flavor that is not quite like anything else.

Typically huckleberries grow on the lower slopes of mountains in the mid-alpine region and ripen in mid to late summer. Wild huckleberries are a treat for many mammals, and not just humans. Grizzly bears love them!

Fortunately you don't have to climb mountains and dodge grizzlies to enjoy huckleberries yourself or give them as a gift. Heart to Heart Gifts has several huckleberry products to offer, including jams and candies. Our most recent addition is huckleberry lemonade concentrate, which guests at our recent Lemon Drops & Flip Flops event got to try. It was pretty much unanimous: it's delicious!

Of course lemonade is just the beginning. The concentrate adds a fruity zing to all sorts of drinks, including punches, champagne, martinis, daiquiris, margaritas, and ciders.

So whether you want give your out-of-state friends a unique taste of Idaho or are just looking for something a little different for yourself, come give our huckleberry products a try! You'll be glad you did!
